Robert was buried at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Department du Calvados, Basse-Normandie, France at Plot G Row 6 Grave 21. Breedlove was then relocated back to his home country, where services were held for him. His parents William and Nancy were among the family members to attend. Other guests included Mrs. N. F. Breedlove, Miss Mary Breedlove, Mrs. Charles Wells, Ray and Bennie Earl Wells, J. N. Breedlove, and Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Brown of Hattiesburg. Robert was honored at the First Baptist Church of Picayune by Reverend O. P. Estes and Reverend Morrow, both pastors of the Methodist church. |
